Knish Nosh At the home of Jewish comfort food in Rego Park. From Latkas to Mazto ball soup, is a historic yet classic eateries to visit in Rego Park. Being established in 1952 during the heigh period of immigration to America, Knish Nosh was able to gain major recognition amongst its community and has developed into a spot of conversing and delectable treats with its many Knishes. The Knishes range from simple potato Knishes to pastrami and corned beef Knishes. There something for everyone there and it will truly show the authenticity of Rego Park.

Glatt Kosher is a hybrid restaurant that allows more people too enjoy sushi as the kosher aspect of the restaurant opens up more opportunities for more religious groups of Jewish people two enjoy sushi. not only is this a more accessible restaurant it helps define what Rego Park has done to progress into a more diverse community as well as examine the cultural influence of others onto a prominently Jewish community. the culturally significant food of sushi from Japan has brought interest to the Jewish community to the extent that they have created a kosher version in order to have the opportunity to enjoy and gain the experience of being an American when indulging in various different culture’s foods.

Founded in 2002, Cheburechnaya Has become one of the most popular and faithful traditional restaurants for the Jewish community in Rego Park. they are well known for their catering for large Jewish events such as bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvah’s as well as the dinners for Jewish weddings. Cheburechnaya is able to provide a large sample and diversity of Jewish food from across eastern Europe and northern Asia specifically from countries such as Russia, Uzbekistan and, Armenia. if one is looking for the absolute family style way of traditional Jewish eateries, Cheburechnaya is possibly the only restaurant that could provide the food and live up to its expectations.

Diner Bar:

Diner bar is the newest addition to the Queens Blvd restaurant line up as it takes the corner next to the Citibank on 65th Rd. It creates the classic diner feel with the neon light and the down to basics American menu, however the different designs of the clublike furniture and bar gives it a unique yet simple American feel as it combines the older generation of eatery and newer generation of eatery into one exact building that phases towards Queens Blvd and attracts new and oncoming customers.

J & D Pizza:

J&D Pizza is by far the most popular place of take out by the youth in elementary and middle schools in regal park. Every day after school there would be a flock of children from J.H.S. 157 and P.S. 206 who would line up outside the pizzeria in order to get the 2 slices for $3 deal that would only run from 1pm – 4pm. This time period creates any unconscious community with in the two levels of schooling as the children grew up and see the younger generations proceed them. Even though they went through new management, it still holds strong as one of the founding establishments that youths relying on to have fun and enjoy eating with their peers in Rego Park.
